This one-act play, written in 2022 for the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music’s Transmigration Festival is a collaborative piece created, staged, and performed in only three weeks by a randomly selected group of Acting students. Taking on the role of playwright, Olsen was responsible for creating the script which would eventually become Up Yours! The show was updated and expanded in 2025 for the Cincinnati Fringe Festival. Absurd, crass, Marxist and unabashedly silly, this play follows a group of underpaid and overworked sock puppets as they seek to overthrow the neglectful human masters after a traumatic incident leaves one of them dead.
